The Y actively promotes a culture free from bias and injustice. We are dedicated to removing institutional and systemic barriers that result in oppression and racism. PCC began as a food-buying club of 15 Seattle families in 1953. Since then, our priorities haven’t changed. Our mission is to ensure that good food nourishes the communities we serve while cultivating vibrant, local, organic food systems. In everything, we strive to inspire and advance the health and well-being of people, their communities and our planet.

We believe in working as one team that solves problems—striving to be customer-focused and drive for the best results. We envision a welcoming community that is racially just because the field of human services exists to undo and mitigate unfair structures.
